If you notice Empathy plays a big role in NPD.
Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) is a Cluster B personality
disorder in which a person is excessively preoccupied with personal adequacy,
power, prestige and vanity, mentally unable to see the destructive damage
they are causing to themselves and to others in the process.
Narcissistic personality disorder is characterized by an
over-inflated sense of self-importance, as well as dramatic, emotional behavior
that is in the same category as antisocial and borderline personality disorders.
In addition to these symptoms, the person may display
arrogance, show superiority, and seek power.
The symptoms of narcissistic personality disorder can be
similar to the traits of individuals with strong self-esteem and confidence;
differentiation occurs when the underlying psychological structures of these
traits are considered pathological. Narcissists have such an elevated sense of
self-worth that they value themselves as inherently better than others, when in
reality they have a fragile self-esteem, cannot handle criticism, and often try
to compensate for this inner fragility by belittling or disparaging others in
an attempt to validate their own self-worth. Comments and criticisms about
others are vicious from sufferers of NPD, in an attempt to boost their own poor
self-esteem.
Another narcissist symptom is a lack of empathy. They are unable
to relate, understand, and rationalize the feelings of others. Instead of
behaving in a way that shows how they are feeling in the moment, they behave in
the way that they feel they are expected to behave or that gives them the most
attention.
People who are diagnosed with a narcissistic personality
disorder are characterized by exaggerated feelings of self-importance. They
have a sense of entitlement and demonstrate grandiosity in their beliefs and
behavior. They have a strong need for admiration, but lack feelings of empathy
Two types of narcissistic defenses that were measured with
eating pathology were "poisonous pedagogy" and "narcissistically
abused". Poisonous pedagogy is one who places blame on others and is
overly critical of others' inadequacies. The narcissistically abused are those
who put others’ needs before theirs yet see themselves as being poorly treated.
Recent research has identified a structural abnormality
in the brains of those with narcissistic personality disorder, specifically
noting less volume of gray matter in the left anterior insula. This brain
region relates to empathy, compassion, emotional regulation, and cognitive
functioning.

Allow me to understand this. Jt Larson is a licensed psychologist that diagnosed Tabetha Jones with her consent? Yeah, I didn't think so either. Just like all the legal advice, is she an attorney too? Word is contract binds her authors from posting funny thing I am one of her authors I just care less to post of a blog full of hate and rubbish. The bloody woman has no self respect and if she did she would not allow the things being said on there including the words out of her mouth. I looked up the laws in Texas Tabetha not being an LLC she does not have to register with her state and has the option of her city and county. Hell she got an EIN and posted it in the group to keep that made woman happy. Again rubbish. I signed a contract with her with full knowledge of the past but she has been wonderful but to her that woman tell it she's a black souled demon. Tabetha is not the person that hideous blog has made her out to be. I do hope you take her down. Tabetha does not deserve it. The past is gone let it rest. Live for the day.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree I was one like you and author harassed by Lepp as he FB messaged me and a few other friends until it was too much then when I saw them get thrashed on her blog form one to the next of Lepp's puppets I knew there was no way we the authors would have a real say.
ReplyDeleteHow many of those commenters are really someone that has been hurt or are they JT and a few of her Puppets. I go with the later... She screams Tabetha, Tabetha, Tabetha. And they all scamper to her do her bidding not caring that she hurts any of us in the process. She knows she hurts us but she doesn't care. That came from someone in her Camp... But damn if I told the name that poor person would never write again... She destroyed all happiness like a dementor ( I probably didn't spell that right) Like on Harry Potter.... Yes I have my Wand in hand waving it but it seems to be out of magic if you know what I mean!
I was screwed over tenfold by Tabetha. I do have the proof. But it is not the point i am making. The point is, I once did post about how I was victim to Tabetha on Lepps blog. But that is not my point either. My point is I am over all sides drama. If you can imagine, ive tried to tell all sides I dont want a part to play in this anymore. I dont even want to be in it. Its gone too far. After having massive breakdowns, relying on depression medication, i am just over it. The truth is both side will not stop whilst the other continues. And every day, someone messages me about some shit i no longer want to care about. Does this make me one-sided? No. The side im on is none because im over choosing sides to a drama filled circle.

ReplyDeleteThat post I had made blocked out who it was from as you could have seen as I have taken it down now per a negotiation I was working on. I also blocked out all other authors not in the fight. a few were listed as they came here wanting to get in fights with me over Lepp being all right!
Everyone who I have done business with getting post from FB and such each have their own agreement with me. I will tell you like have them if anyone and I mean anyone swindles an author I don't care if they gave me their first born I will take them to the mat with Lepp. And YES that includes Tabetha! I have had enough games, as I sift through all the things I have been given I see a pattern. No matter the things Tabetha has been accused of the "Deal Maker" made a deal that she reneged on. It is my belief that the intention to "let it go" "move on" was never really going to happen. It is all good doing it for your daughter and hell I would for all three of mine no questions asked.. But the deal to stop the assaults, harassment, slander and so forth was with Lepp with her word as her puppets say is "Honorable" as is her "Integrity". I have failed to really see any of that...
Like I said the deeper I go in the archived post that someone screen capped for me as well as the FB chats between Lepp and Tabetha I see where Lepp attached her repeatedly egging her on. I can see why Tabetha was not very nice on that blog when she commented. I don't think I could have done that period. I see all the words not adding up then I see this post on FB today and before I can screen cap it myself its gone" Poof"
The jest is Lepp said something about court then her daughter Thea get son there calling her a LIAR for making up a fake subpoena... I believe she was moving out of Lepp's house because of all the bullshit lies... I was told that same thing by a few other people who saw it also. I am hopping one of them caught it for me before it went bye bye so I didn't have proof she was a liar herself. AS for now I will keep posting the truth weather from her own mouth/blog or from what these lovely authors, friends of mine have been delivering to my inbox...

ReplyDeleteI have a huge question for those looking. A few blog post down I was asked who I trusted from an author looking to sign. From reading all these blogs, I am learning Tabetha scammed people years ago but when Jackie and Kinship was put on the spotlight, the path got detoured while the young lady spilled her tears for the world to see. Honestly, what makes Kinship a better place to work or have your work submitted?
Honestly, I would not let either touch anything of mine, including the snot rag I used to blow my nose today. The post about Kinship paying reminds me of a pay off and only done because someone mentioned it. Within hours of blogs it was payed, my guess is that Jackie was hoping the youngin' would not say a word but hide in the shadows, guess Jackie learned not everyone is a keep quiet person. I would love to know how to get in touch with that young lad for she needs support.
Kinship owner came from the camp of Tabetha and Phoenix Fire. Maybe just maybe, everyone has been fooled. Jackie came out to take the spotlight off Tabetha by creating a new company who could scam a former or many former authors dating back to the beginning. With roadblocks in the way, everyone would be diverting attention away from the first and with help of silence within the ranking blogs, Jackie could build a company no one would expose and the two reunited later. The dying of one company and the strength of building another. This is called manipulation tactics withing con-artistry. Smoke and Mirrors to use Lepplady's words.
I am not pointing a gun at anyone to make you choice who is right and who is wrong, just stating what an observer of the whole situation can see as a possible scenario.
Last question before my weekend starts...... Is Jackie riding the fence post getting a climatic release from being wanted by all sides?
