Who is your Publisher based off your ISBN choice on CS:
All this
talk about Royalties and Third Party Sales. I have to say as an author I had no
idea this was how it worked. The Publisher I use takes care of all this for me.
I never have to worry legally how to track down my money. They do it for me!
A lot of my
Self-Publishing Authors friends have taken the liberty to hand over research
they had done on their own tacking down those Sellers on Amazon who have a
store selling there work.
See when you
chose CS free ISBN or CS $10.00 IBSN you are excepting Createspace as the
listed Publisher. If you buy the one
they list cheaper than on the Bowker site then its $99.00. That one or any you
have already or bought you then can list your Publisher.
OK so here
it is the SP economic route ISBN route through CS = Createspace as Publisher
and Distributer
Bowker
discount offered on CS $99.00 or $125.00 for 1 on Bowker website = Your Own
name or Publisher’s name as Publisher and You choose your distributer.

Third party sales!!
Amazon Third
Party Retail Sales
Retailers,
including Amazon, allow third-parties to sell products on their websites. If
your book is available through the Amazon.com or Amazon Europe sales channels,
then these third-party sellers may also list your book for sale on your
Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.de, Amazon.fr, Amazon.es and Amazon.it detail
pages. CreateSpace is not directly affiliated with these sellers and cannot
control the selling price and condition (new or used) of these listings. Here
are some examples of these types of listings:
• Sellers can list your book for sale
without physical inventory on-hand. When the seller receives a customer order,
they then place an order from Amazon.com, Amazon’s European websites or
CreateSpace to fulfill this demand and drop-ship it to the customer. At that
time, your title is manufactured; you earn a royalty, and the order is sent to
the end customer.
• For books enrolled in Expanded
Distribution, third-party sellers can create listings on various retail sites
both domestically and internationally. These sellers can source your title from
the distributors we work with through Expanded Distribution, to fulfill
customer orders. Once the title is manufactured, an Expanded Distribution
royalty will be reported in your account within 8 weeks.
• Sellers can list used copies of your
title for sale. If a used copy is sold, you will not receive a royalty for this
sale because you previously received the royalty when the title was
manufactured and originally sold.
• Copies that you purchase of your own title,
also known as member orders, may end up being listed for sale on a retail site.
Member orders are purchased at a discounted price and do not earn you a
royalty. If you give these copies away or sell them to a wholesaler, it's
possible that they may become available for purchase on a retail site. Keep in
mind that once your book is in distribution, it can change hands multiple
times. If this happens, you will not receive a royalty for the sale because the
title is re-sold using a book that you originally purchased at a discounted
rate.
Earned
Royalties
For books,
CDs, and DVDs, you earn royalties every time we manufacture a product to
fulfill a new customer order placed on Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.de,
Amazon.fr, Amazon.es and Amazon.it, your eStore, or through Expanded
Distribution.
Royalties
for your title may occur without a royalty payment if the item is listed by a
third-party reseller, or "Marketplace" seller. You have already been
paid a royalty from the first time the unit was manufactured, even if the
reseller lists the item's condition as "new."
We cannot
control, track, or pay royalties on previously purchased copies of your title
through other resellers or distribution channels; you are only paid royalties
for new copies of your title that we manufacture to fulfill orders.
OK Kiddies
are we caught up now? Just because the Store/Vendor lists your books does not
mean they are being sold so you have Royalties coming in period! The Publisher
if you have the Free or $10.00 ISBN number allows Createspace to act as your
Publisher. If you bought the $99.00 or your own from Bowker then you can choose
this option.
HELLO!!!!!!!!
This is… expanded distribution…
